1. BUKHARA
Bukhara is known for its rustic atmosphere, open fronted kitchen, and delectable Northwest Frontier tandoori cuisine -- oh, and for the fact that US presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have dined there. If you're interested in trying what they ate, ask for the special mixed meat Clinton Platter or Obama Platter. This restaurant is best suited to non-vegetarians

3. VARQ

4. DUM PUKHT
The ITC Maura Sheraton has another of Delhi's famed fine dining restaurants, Dum Pukht (and indeed, some people prefer it over Bukhara). This restaurant delivers a regal dining experience, resplendent with marble, chandeliers, and one of the most refined forms of cooking from the royal Mughal kitchens in India -- a 200 year old technique of slow roasting in sealed pots over a very low flame. This allows the meat to cook in its own juices.
5. DAKSHIN
Longing for some authentic south Indian cuisine ? Dakshin will tantalize your taste buds with some of the best, and most unusual, flavors from the south. The restaurant prides itself on serving an uncommon collection of enticing dishes from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. You'll be pleasantly surprised to discover quite a few traditional dishes on the menu that are usually not found in restaurants. Don't miss the Meen Moilee from Kerala -- fish curry cooked in coconut milk.
6. MASALA LIBRARY
Masala Library opened its doors in Delhi in mid 2016, in a totally transformed luxury car showroom. This restaurant, which specializes in experimental molecular gastronomy. The young chef in the restaurant's Delhi branch, Saurabh Udinia (who previously assisted Indian Accent's Manish Mehrotra), visited 15 states in India to discover the everyday dishes being cooked in homes and give innovative twists to them. If you have plenty of time and an empty stomach, opt for the 19 course tasting meal to sample everything. Vegetarians are well catered for.
